Partnering with the Church to Transform Lives Behind Bars

This week, Prison Fellowship Eswatini (PFE) was thrilled to strengthen its partnership with Mbabane Alliance Church (MBAC) by supporting their dedicated prison outreach team. Every Wednesday morning, these faithful volunteers minister at the Mbabane Correctional Facility, bringing light into a place many have forgotten.

To empower their efforts, PFE provided:

  • 5 Leader’s Guidebooks
  • 30 Gospel of Mark booklets
  • 33 TPJ Promotional Posters
  • 50 Programme Invitation Cards

These resources are part of The Prisoner’s Journey® (TPJ)—a powerful, Christ-centered program that introduces inmates to Jesus, the ultimate prisoner. Through TPJ, participants explore the Gospel of Mark, discover the transformational power of the cross, and journey toward a new identity in Christ. The program culminates in a Certificate of Completion ceremony, celebrating each inmate’s spiritual growth and commitment.

We are also excited to announce that periodic volunteer training sessions for MBAC’s outreach team will be conducted in collaboration with PFE’s Secretariat at the church premises, ensuring quality delivery and sustainable impact.

In an inspiring act of generosity, MBAC members have also committed to donating monthly fuel coupons, helping to cover transport costs and ensure consistent outreach efforts.

We are deeply encouraged by this growing partnership with the Church. Together, we are bringing restoration, dignity, and eternal hope to the incarcerated—one life at a time.
