Network mapping

One of the greatest benefits to PFI membership is to be part of an international network. This network serves many functions:

  • it lends credibility to be part of something global.
  • it is a place where like minded people can encourage one another and form friendships.
  • it is a place through which we can learn from one another, both programmatically and organisationally.
  • it is a place where we can quickly find contacts of contacts that they might be needed at short notice.
  • it is a network through which we can influence policy and practice.

Because our network is vast, up to this day we have depended on institutional memory held in the minds of our staff and members. This has meant that we regularly loose valuable institutional memory, or that we miss great opportunities leverage synergies.

This is why PFI is now introducing social network mapping, in a similar way to LinkedIn amongst others. By applying this approach, will help elevate your membership experience by bringing PFI up to date with the latest digital capabilities.
