National Ministries Spotlight: Prison Fellowship Fiji

As Dan Savou shared about Prison Fellowship Fiji’s ministry, he mentioned how the local churches and the corporate sector came into play during their Angel Tree Project efforts. This partnership worked to bless and connect children whose parents are incarcerated, a major encouragement for other ministries wanting to work hand-in-hand with the marketplace as they seek to impact lives. A sacred-secular relationship is essential, as collaboration with the marketplace can increase the ministry’s reach and, in extension, the Gospel’s reach through spreading of His love.

“But if anyone has the world’s goods and sees his brother in need, yet closes his heart against him, how does God’s love abide in him?” – 1 John 3:17

The call to bring Christian love to others is not an exclusive call to the people in full-time ministry, but for full-time Christians– whether in ministry or marketplace. Therefore, let us press on as we labour to bring God’s love and message to the places where it is most needed. Everyone has a part to play.
