Recently, Prison Fellowship Germany/Seehaus, hosted its annual volunteer appreciation celebration, taking time to recognize and thank the many individuals who faithfully serve throughout the ministry. It was a beautiful reminder that behind every successful program, every restored relationship, and every transformed life, there are people who quietly and consistently give of themselves for others.
Today, 107 volunteers are actively involved with Seehaus across 26 different areas of service. Their contributions range from mentoring and practical support to encouragement, relationship-building, and restorative justice initiatives. Each volunteer brings unique gifts, compassion, and commitment to the mission.
What makes this even more encouraging is that the volunteer team continues to grow, with new volunteers joining regularly each month. This growth reflects something powerful: people are hungry to make a meaningful difference and to be part of work that brings hope and restoration.
During the celebration, several long-serving volunteers were specially honored for their years of dedication. While awards and recognition are important, every volunteer deserves appreciation. Their willingness to show up consistently, often behind the scenes, creates an immeasurable impact on the lives of young people, families, and communities.
At Prison Fellowship International, we are deeply grateful for the partnership and ministry of Seehaus Germany. Their work demonstrates the power of restorative justice, reconciliation, and community support in action.
To every volunteer serving with Seehaus: thank you. Your compassion, faithfulness, and generosity are helping create pathways to healing, responsibility, and second chances.
You are making a difference.
