2025 Africa Region Onsite Forum

The Africa Region Onsite Forum 2025 convened from 6–8 May 2025 at the Lusaka Legacy Resort & Conference Centre in Zambia, under the inspiring theme: “Africa Arise, Own Your Future!” The forum brought together a diverse and dynamic group of participants, totaling 106 delegates, whose collective presence enriched the conversations and fostered meaningful cross-sector collaboration.

What Made This Forum Unique?

This was far more than just another gathering; it was a defining moment of reflection, renewal and strategic direction. The forum featured dynamic sessions, compelling stories and stimulating insights from carefully chosen speakers. Its purpose was clear: to equip and empower National Ministries to move beyond dependency and embrace true ownership, sustainability and innovation. National Ministries were also encouraged to recognize and maximize their existing resources, build meaningful partnerships with local stakeholders (including donors, churches and government institutions) and adopt sustainable, locally appropriate models that address their unique challenges and opportunities.

Deep Learnings and Commitments

The forum marked a defining milestone in advancing and shaping the shared mission and vision among National Ministries across the continent. Strengthened by resounding support from governments and partners, rooted in deep spiritual conviction and energized by renewed commitments, the forum reimagined what is possible when African National Ministries rise together in unity and shared purpose to own their future.

In a powerful display of collective resolve, all participants signed a communiqué capturing key resolutions that will guide and bind their actions moving forward, solidifying their shared commitment to collaboration, innovation and long-term sustainability.
